Kirsten Miller
Clinical Lead and Senior Occupational Therapist
Kirsten joined Hearth Allied Health in 2023. Kirsten is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with 15 years experience having worked in public and private settings throughout Victoria and Queensland. This included working in both public and private acute hospital settings, primary health teams, community rehabilitation and subacute rehabilitation services.
Kirsten’s roles included providing Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to a variety of clients with complex rehabilitation needs. She has had the opportunities to set up educational programs, service policies and procedures and implement staff supervision and training. Kirsten has a passion for the supervision and teaching side of her role and has completed teaching one subject at Swinbourne University on the Journey of stroke rehabilitation.
Kirsten is highly skilled in working with a varied caseload of neurological conditions including stroke, acquired brain injury, orthopedic conditions, neurodegenerative conditions such as MS and Parkinson’s disease and many more. Her particular interest is in neurological conditions and cognitive therapy.
Kirsten enjoys the client centered approach to her role and her focus is to ensure NDIS participants are working towards achieving their goals and improving their ability to participate in everyday life.
