Sian Higgins

BPsychSc (Bachelor of Psychological Sciences)

Sian is a very passionate and empathetic Advanced Positive Behaviour Support practitioner, who has been working in the disability sector for more than five years, having started on the ground as a support worker.

She is committed to person-centred and trauma informed practice, with a special interest in working within the mental health and disability space, working towards an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Master of Professional Psychology.

Sian also works as a supervisor of other Core and Proficient PBS Practitioners.

Sian has a strong educational background that informs her work, focusing on the strengths, goals and interests of the client, as well as working within a circle of support and multidisciplinary team. This supports her in engaging in an evidence-based approaches to increase the quality of life of individuals.
