Hearth Support Services joins the Bendigo Community in celebrating International Day of People with Disability.

Hearth Support Services is excited to be joining the Bendigo community in celebrating and supporting International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) on Friday December 2.

“IDPwD is a United Nations observed day celebrated internationally. It aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions.”

The Bendigo community has created an event at the Library Gardens to mark this particularly important occasion including an art exhibition and activities between 11am-2pm.

It would be great to see you there! feel free to drop into our stand, we would love to share how we are making a difference to people’s lives every day!

About Hearth Disability Support Services

Hearth Support Services has gone through enormous change over the last 5 years since its inception in 2017!

Today Hearth Disability Support Services is an innovative and rapidly growing NDIS registered and audited provider with hundreds of Clients and hundreds of Disability Support Workers operating 24/7, 365 days a year throughout metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria

At Hearth we have continued to evolve and learn rapidly to build capability, systems, and processes to be able to sustainably support a wide range of Client/Participant needs, leading to positive outcomes for our participants.

To this end, during 2021 we expanded our Melbourne support services to create a true client centred interdisciplinary approach to support. The additional services include Hearth Allied Health (Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) as well as Positive Behaviour Support.

In 2021 we opened our first regional office in Bendigo and more recently opened an office in Geelong.
