Join us for the Geelong Launch of Hearth Disability Housing
About Hearth
Hearth Support Services has gone through enormous change over the last 5 years since its inception in 2017!
Today Hearth Disability Support Services is an innovative and rapidly growing NDIS registered and audited provider with hundreds of Clients and hundreds of Disability Support Workers operating 24/7, 365 days a year throughout metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria
At Hearth we have continued to evolve and learn rapidly to build capability, systems, and processes to be able to sustainably support a wide range of Client/Participant needs, leading to positive outcomes for our participants including some of the most complex Participants in Victoria.
To this end, during 2021 we expanded our Melbourne support services to create a true client centred interdisciplinary approach to support. The additional services include Hearth Allied Health (Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) as well as Positive Behaviour Support.
In 2021 we also opened our first regional office in Bendigo and more recently opened an office in Geelong.
What is Hearth Housing
Launched in 2020, The Hearth Housing solution is an innovative new and different approach to providing affordable, long term housing solutions for the 94% of people with a disability who are not eligible for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
The Hearth Disability Housing model is founded on the principles of social inclusion, with our houses embedded within local communities, providing a level of choice and control for Participants and Families to live their best lives.
As part of stage 2 of Hearth Housing we bought our first “Hearth House” in the Melbourne suburb of Croydon in 2021.
Following the launch of Hearth Housing in Bendigo on the 14th of December 2021, Hearth then purchased a house early 2022 in Bendigo to demonstrate the investment in Regional Victoria and provide a long-term solution for two of our Participants.
