Hearth Support Services is delighted to announce the appointment of Kristal Seaborne to the newly created position of Team Leader.
Kristal Seaborne brings with her a wealth of experience in the community, not-for-profit, and social enterprise sectors, having worked for Anglicare Victoria, Women’s Property Initiatives and Soap Aid
Over the last 20 years, Kristal has worked extensively with people from marginalised and vulnerable groups, presenting with complex needs and histories of trauma, as well as supporting the people who support them.
In addition, Kristal has worked across a range of programs and roles which has included direct service delivery, project management, and communications in youth services, women’s housing, and health organisations.
Hearth Support Services has rapidly expanded its client base across Melbourne’s as the holistic “Hearth Approach” to disability services has resonated with its clients who are looking for a long-term partnership with their disability support services provider.
In her new role Kristal will have oversight, and operational management of the Inner East Relationship Manager team, alongside the management of the Practice Lead. Kristal will also own the embedment of consistent practice across Hearth Housing and Complex based support services. The purpose of the role is to ensure Hearth maintains its high level of client service.
Hearth Support Services has gone through enormous change over the last 5 years since its inception in 2017!
Today Hearth Disability Support Services is an innovative and rapidly growing NDIS registered and audited provider with hundreds of Clients and hundreds of Disability Support Workers operating 24/7, 365 days a year throughout metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria
At Hearth we have continued to evolve and learn rapidly to build capability, systems, and processes to be able to sustainably support a wide range of Client/Participant needs, leading to positive outcomes for our participants including some of the most complex Participants in Victoria.
To this end, during 2021 we expanded our Melbourne support services to create a true client centred interdisciplinary approach to support. The additional services include Hearth Allied Health (Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) as well as Positive Behaviour Support.
We also expand our geographical footprint in 2021 by opening an office in Bendigo and in February this year we opened an office in Geelong.
As part of the next stage of Hearth Housing our revolutionary approach to Non-Specialist Disability Housing which we launched in 2020 we recently bought our first “Hearth House” in the Melbourne suburb of Croydon. This has enabled Hearth Housing to commence a “pilot initiative” to further develop the initiative.
Once again Kristal, congratulations and we look forward to your contribution to growing our dynamic business.
